A great opportunity has arisen to join the Community Events Team at Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity. This is a dynamic and inspiring supporter-focused team, working with thousands of supporters who raise money in aid of the charity through a varied range of activity. The team also has responsibility for our volunteer ambassador programme, in-memory fundraising, and the ‘charity desk’ in GOSH, whilst working closely with the wider hospital community.

This role would suit someone with excellent communication skills and initiative looking to develop in account management and project management. We are looking for someone with experience of working in a busy fundraising team who will help to build lasting relationships with supporters from a variety of backgrounds, including patient families, community groups, companies and individuals fundraising in memory.

Some of the key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Delivering excellent supporter care
  • Taking a proactive approach to identify new opportunities
  • Advising fundraisers in all aspects of fundraising including planning, marketing, charity law and guidelines
  • Manage digital stewardship for the team, including social media and automated stewardship emails
