We face an incredible task - to raise over £50 million every year. 

The charity exists to support Great Ormond Street Hospital so that it can remain at the forefront of international paediatric medicine and continue to offer specialist, world-class care to thousands of patients every year.

Donations from supporters

Regular monthly gifts and single donations

• We accept donations online - sign up to a regular gift or make a one-off donation
• We sometimes contact our supporters through telephone fundraising
• You may meet some of our face-to-face fundraisers on the street 
• We often write to supporters to ask for a donation
• Some people contact us to make a donation after watching our television advert

The hospital has a proud history of support from major donors, and the charity has created exciting recognition opportunities for our most generous benefactors.

We are always keen to hear from those who could support us, and ambassadors who are willing to advocate the needs of the hospital on our behalf.   

Fundraising appeals

Throughout the year, we run special appeals to raise money for specific projects within our four areas of fundraising - hospital redevelopment, research, specialist equipment and patient & family support:

• Kiss it Better - an annual appeal to raise money to fund research into the causes and treatment of childhood cancer
  
  

• The Tick Tock Club - helping to fund a new Heart and Lung Centre
  
  

• Theatres for Theatres - a three-year initiative to raise £4 million to help fund two new state-of-the-art operating theatres at the hospital
