Bethan
Six-year-old Bethan suffers from a rare skin disease, glomuvenus malformation, which causes her veins to break down, leaving painful purple lesions on her skin.
Bethan has been in and out of GOSH since she was six-months-old, receiving treatment. She takes a daily aspirin to help disperse the blood clots, a special cream to break them up and laser treatment every six months.
In May 2006, she and all her family were treated to a holiday in Mallorca, courtesy of Thomson Holidays, to see the premiere of the Pirates Adventure Show in aid of GOSHCC.
