Kayley

11-year-old Kayley was born with cystic fibrosis and had a heart and lung transplant at GOSH in September 2005.

She was well enough to travel home to Liverpool one month after the operation, on her mother Jackie's 40th birthday.

Jackie said: "No-one could have given me a birthday present like having her home - it's all I wanted."

Kayley and her parents had the holiday of a lifetime with five other GOSH families in Mallorca in May 2006, courtesy of Thomson Holidays.
