Quentin

Quentin

Quentin was born with chronic renal failure. At the age of seven, surgeons at GOSH gave him a new kidney donated by his mother, Sarah. Three months later, when he went back to school, he looked so much better that his classmates failed to recognise him.

"He eats like a horse now!" says Sarah.

Quentin, eight, is one of 30 children who had a kidney transplant last year at GOSH, making it one of the busiest periods ever for the team.
