LV= help to Kiss it Better
A team of five people from LV= in Bournemouth organised a Diamonds are Forever ball raising £39,000 for the charity’s Kiss it Better appeal.
A team of five employees from the HR team at LV= organised a Charity Ball at the Royal Bath Hotel in Bournemouth on the 25 September.
The event raised a staggering £39,000 (including matched funding) for the Kiss it Better appeal for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity.
The Diamonds are Forever themed evening comprised a champagne reception with a three course meal, entertainment and featured a piano assemble, a swing band, casino and a disco.
In addition to raising money through ticket sales, the team organised a main auction, a silent auction and the chance for attendees to win a diamond by purchasing a diamond ticket.
The event took months of planning but we are all absolutely delighted with how much was raised which far exceeded our expectations. We were fortunate enough to visit the hospital during the early stages of planning which drove our motivation to ensure that the event was a great success
