Harrods has committed to supporting Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity to help raise money to fund three bedrooms in the hospital’s new kidney unit.
Harrods staff and customers have made a fantastic start to supporting Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity throughout the winter. The partnership launched in October with patient Dominic and Dannii Minogue hitting the switch to turn the store into the Emerald City.
Christmas activity
A host of activities followed including customer donations in store and online, charity products for sale including replica ruby slippers (which sold out as soon as they hit the shelves!) and a fantastic range of babywear as well as patients getting the chance to take part in the Christmas parade and the Boxing Day Sale opening with Amanda Holden.
An exciting 2010
We are looking forward to continuing the relationship with Harrods during 2010, aiming to raise funds for three single bedrooms in the hospital’s new kidney unit.
