Launched in October 2007, the partnership between global financial services firm Morgan Stanley and Great Ormond Street Hospital will take us one step closer to completely funding “phase 2a” of our redevelopment project. A combination of staff fundraising and corporate matched-funding will see £10 million come into the hospital over the course of the three year partnership. As a special thanks for their continued support of our work, the new clinical building, due to open in April 2012, will be called The Morgan Stanley Clinical Building.
Over the next three years, Morgan Stanley staff in the UK will be raising money through events such as quiz nights, Christmas fairs and black-tie evenings. Challenge events are also very appealing to Morgan Stanley employees, London and New York Marathons are planned for the future as well as their annual charity grudge-match against other investment banks, the “Enduro-Challenge”.
