In July and August 2009, teams from Disney Store and Disney Consumer Products head office were challenged to undertake surprise Scavenger Hunts across London in fancy dress to raise money for the Disney Appeal for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity.
Each Disney team had to solve a tough set of clues across Central London while dressed to impress – in outfits representing different Disney Characters. Morale was high as teams worked feverishly to beat the clock!
The Disney Store
On 30 July 2009, 15 teams from Disney Store stopped off at the Brunswick Centre for 15 minute bucket collections before solving a clue to take them to the Peter Pan statue outside Great Ormond Street Hospital, marked by a Thank You banner from patients to recognise their support of the Charity to date.
Disney Consumer Products
On 20 August 2009, seven teams from Disney Consumer Products each made 15 minute bucket collections in the Hammersmith Broadway Shopping Centre, raising a total of £279.62 for the Appeal.
