Our dedicated legacy team is here to support you.
We can give you the right information you need to include a gift in your will in your lifetime. And in the administration of estates, to ensure that whatever the value of a gift, it will achieve its full potential and that the benefactors wishes are honoured.
We fully appreciate that not everyone wants to tell us about their intention to leave a legacy to Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity although we really like to hear such good news. However, if you would like to tell us, we promise to treat this information in absolute confidence and respect and it will not lead to intrusive communications or assumptions about your future intentions which of course may change with time.
Executors of Wills and family members sometimes wish to be involved in the allocation of a legacy - for example, a particular condition, research or a piece of equipment. We always try to ensure, in collaboration with them, that the gift is used most appropriately and reflects the particular interests of the benefactor wherever possible.

Attending a Hospital open day
From time to time supporters are invited to ‘open days’ at the hospital when guests are invited to hear directly from the professionals about the latest work being carried out.
This is a wonderful opportunity to see and hear about real case studies first-hand and discover how the hospital is developing its services for the future. To find out when the next ‘open day’ will be taking place please contact us.
Honouring your memory
A Book of Remembrance recording the names of legators is kept on public display in the ante-room to the splendid St Christopher’s chapel at the heart of the hospital alongside the Children’s Book of Remembrance.
