Autumn Raffle 2017: Terms and Conditions

1. Participation in Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity Autumn Raffle 2017 costs £1 per raffle ticket.
 
2. Tickets will be on sale from 18 September 2017.
 
3. Tickets will be limited to a maximum of 100 per person, and the number of tickets available to purchase online in one go will be 50.
 
4. Additional raffle tickets, within the limitations detailed in (3) above, may be available on request by phoning 0345 601 6936. The amount of the additional tickets sent out will be at the absolute discretion of GOSH Charity.
 
5. Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity Autumn Raffle 2017 is open to all mainland Great Britain residents over the age of 16 (this excludes Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and the Channel Islands).
 
6. Tickets may not be sold to, or by, a person under the age of 16. All winners are required to provide proof of age when requested.
 
7. If a ticket is sold unknowingly to, on behalf of, or for a person under the age of 16 he/she will be exempt from the raffle and will forfeit his/her prize and the stake will be returned.
 
8. Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity accepts no responsibility if the chosen method of payment is cancelled in error.
 
9. No responsibility is taken for raffle tickets and payments which are lost, damaged, illegible or from which the prize-winner cannot be identified, or for any technical failure or event which may cause the competition to be disrupted or corrupted. Proof of posting will not be accepted as proof of receipt.
 
10. Closing date for the receipt of raffle tickets and raffle ticket payment is Friday 24 November 2017. Tickets received after this date will not be entered in the draw but the payment will be treated as a donation unless expressly stated otherwise by the sender.
 
11. Payment for participation in the raffle can be made by cheque, credit card, postal order or cash. CAF or other charity vouchers cannot be accepted as payment for raffle tickets.
 
12. Your raffle tickets will be entered into the draw as soon as the whole payment is received.
 
13. Monies raised by the Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity in the Autumn Raffle 2017 will support the work of Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital where the need is greatest.

The Draw

1. The Autumn Raffle 2017 draw will take place on Friday 1 December 2017 at Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity's External Lottery Managers in Chippenham.
 
2. All 23 tickets will be drawn randomly: 
i. The first ticket number drawn will receive the first prize of £5,000.
ii. The second ticket number drawn will receive the second prize of £1,500.
iii. The third ticket drawn will receive the third prize of £500.
iv. There will then be further draws for the remaining 20 runner-up prizes of £50
 
3. The result of the raffle draw is final. If you wish to make a complaint, Great Ormond Street Hospital Children ’s Charity do operate a Complaints and Dispute Procedure, which is available here.

Winners

1. Winners will be notified by telephone or in writing, with payment made by bank transfer or cheque to the name and address of the registered buyers of the winning raffle tickets.
 
2. Winners will be notified in writing with payment made by bank transfer or cheque within 5 working day of the draw.
 
3. A list of all winners will appear on the Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity website from Monday 4 December and will be available on request by phoning 0345 601 6936.
 
4. Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity will make all reasonable attempts to contact prize winners. In the event that winners cannot be contacted Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity will distribute the prize money appropriately.
 
5. The winners may be required to participate in publicity related to the raffle which may include the publication of their name and photograph in any media.

3. Printing of the raffle is being managed by Brightsource (000-004282-R-311258-002 & 000-004282-N-103355-007) on behalf of Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity.
 
4. Response handling activities are being managed by Woods Group, 000-003586-R-314029-003 & 000-003586-N-103664-001 on behalf of Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity.
 
5. Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity will hold the information you provide us for communication, marketing and administration purposes in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. Please read our privacy policy at www.gosh.org/privacy to find out more about how we collect and use your information.
 
6. We do not sell, share or swap your information with any third party for the purpose of them sending marketing information. 
 
7. We promise not to overwhelm you with communications. Fast Reply Draw

If you have been invited to participate in the Fast Reply Draw please be advised that, in addition to the above Terms and Conditions, the following will apply:
 
1. In order to be entered into the Fast Reply Draw you need to have responded to the Autumn Raffle 2017.
 
2. Entries received on or before 9 October 2017 will be entered into the Fast Reply Draw. Entries received after this date will not be entered.
 
3. There will be 20 winners, each receiving a £25 M&S gift voucher. There will only be one prize per person.
 
4. Fast Reply Draw winners will be notified within five working days of the main Autumn Raffle 2017 draw which takes place on 1 December 2017. 
 
5. The result of the Fast Reply Draw draw is final. If you wish to make a complaint, Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity do operate a Complaints and Dispute Procedure, which is available here.
