We are thrilled to announce that on
1 June 2009 the charity launched a new recycling partnership with Oxfam.

The new house to house collections will start in a small area in Surrey and gradually roll out across the whole of London and the South East.

Oxfam will deliver bags to homes and collect them on the day indicated on the front of the bag.

The bags will then be taken to Oxfam’s unique sorting facility, Wastesaver, where they are weighed and sorted by experienced staff.

The donated items will be sold in various outlets, from Oxfam’s high street shops to Oxfam Online shop, festival shop and to recycling wholesalers in the UK and overseas.

Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity will receive £75 per tonne of collected items.
