Legacy talks

From time to time, Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) supporters are invited to Legacy Open Days at the hospital. These open days are an opportunity for supporters to listen to inspirational talks, given by the professionals, about the latest work being carried out at the hospital.

Legacy Open Days

This is a wonderful opportunity to see and hear about real children and discover how the hospital is developing its services for the future. Dr. Owen Williams (above) is one of the pioneering GOSH researchers who has spoken at Legacy Open Days and hosted a research lab visit as part of the hospital tour.

There is no charge to come along. We tend to hold our Legacy Open Days in the summer and autumn. To find out when the next Legacy Open Day will be taking place, please contact Judy Anderson (pictured right), our Legacy Development Manager, on 020 3841 3205 or email legacy@gosh.org.

Bringing the hospital to you

We know that some supporters are unable to attend our Legacy Open Days at the hospital due to mobility or distance issues. Our new initiative allows us to give talks at U3As, Women’s Institutes, Townswomen’s Guilds, and other community and faith groups. Judy Anderson, our Legacy Development Manager, would be delighted to talk to your group about the hospital’s origins, medical and research breakthroughs, current priorities, future plans and ways our supporters make a huge difference.

To book a visit, please call Judy on 020 3841 3205 or email legacy@gosh.org
