Make a lasting tribute to a loved one
Memorial donations can be a meaningful and lasting way to keep the memory of a loved one alive.
Asking friends and family to donate to Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity means your loved one's memory will live on, not only in the hearts of those who knew them, but in the hearts of all the sick children who benefit from your kindness.
Create a memorial page
We'll help you to create a memorial page where you can celebrate your loved one's life with a personal message and photos. We'll help you to let your friends and family know how they can donate easily and securely online.
Arrange a collection in memory of your loved one
Many funeral directors will be able to arrange a collection for you and forward the donations directly to us here.
When all of your gifts have been received we will inform you of the donors and the total raised in memory of your loved one*.
Make a personal donation
There are four easy ways to make a memorial donation:
-
Send in a cheque - please make payable to "GOSHCC" and send to: Memorial donations, Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity, 40 Bernard Street, London WC1N 1LE
We can accept credit card donations over the phone on 020 7239 3002.
All online donations will receive an immediate email thank you from the charity. Any donations made over the phone or by cheque will receive a letter of thanks and, where contact details have been provided, a personal letter will be sent to the next of kin.
Please be assured that amounts of individual gifts are never disclosed.
A fitting tribute
We lost our 12-year-old twin son, Ryan. During this extremely difficult time donating funds to Great Ormond Street Hospital helped us and our family to have something to focus on. We continue to fundraise in Ryan's memory. This helps us and others pay tribute to his short life.

Many thanks to the children at the hospital who drew the flowers on this page.
*Please note that our letter to the next of kin is sent four weeks after we have received the first donation. This is to ensure we provide the most comprehensive list of donors whilst also not intruding on the next of kin too frequently at such a difficult time.
