About the Louis Dundas Centre
The Louis Dundas Centre for Children’s Palliative Care will be a world-class centre of research, teaching and practice in palliative care for children and young people.
Our vision
Our aim is to make high quality palliative care universally accessible to all children with life-limiting and life-threatening illnesses.
We will achieve this by drawing together networks of experts and creating a pioneering and multi-disciplinary academic medical centre of excellence.
We need to raise £6 million
This will help fund the salaries of new researchers, clinicians and other specialist staff whose work will advance palliative care for children at Great Ormond Street Hospital, in the UK and worldwide.
Six million pounds will enable us to:
-
create a new academic unit
-
expand our existing clinical unit
-
establish a development fund to support the work of the centre in the future
