The building has excellent green credentials with environmental considerations and sustainability central to the thinking.
The new centre will allow us to treat more children and contains:
-
The British Kidney Patient Association Children's Kidney Centre, The J N and Phyllis Somers Neurosciences Centre, and the Wolfson Heart and Lung Centre.
-
Seven floors of modern inpatient wards for children with acute conditions and chronic illnesses.
- State-of-the-art operating theatres enabling us to carry out more operations on children with complex conditions.
- The Clinical Investigations Unit, which is part of the Wolfson Heart and Lung Centre. It contains the Arsenal Lung Function Unit, the ENRC Cardiac Daycare Unit and the ECHO/ECG unit.
