Do you want to take up the challenge?

The Bupa London 10,000 starts and finishes in St. James’s Park and uses Green Park as its assembly area. Much of the course takes in the proposed route for the 2012 Olympic Marathon.

See the sights of London

Buckingham Palace acts as the backdrop to the start and finish. Runners pass many of London’s famous sights, including:

  • Westminster Abbey

  • Houses of Parliament

  • Big Ben

  • The London Eye

  • Cleopatra’s Needle

  • Tate Gallery

  • Millennium Bridge

  • The Monument

  • Lloyds of London

  • Leadenhall Market

  • Bank of England

  • Mansion House

  • St. Paul’s Cathedral

  • Horseguards

  • Nelson's Colum

  • Admiralty Arch

How to enter

You can apply for one of our Golden Bond places by filling in the application form and returning it as soon as possible. We ask our runners to pledge to raise £350 and in return we will offer you our full support as you undertake this amazing challenge.

We will allocate our places on a first come first serve basis and we ask for a £30 deposit which should be sent in with the application form as a cheque made payable to ‘GOSHCC’.
