How to apply for a Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity guaranteed place
You can apply for a charity guaranteed place in the first ever Virgin London Marathon by filling in an application form and returning it to us by the 18 September 2009. We ask our runners to pledge to raise £1,800 and in return we will offer you our full support as you undertake this amazing challenge.
We ask runners to pay a £100 non-refundable and non-transferable deposit on receipt of one of our guaranteed places. The charity ballot results will be announced two weeks after the main London Marathon ballot results in September.
How to apply for your own guaranteed place through the London Marathon
The official ballot has now been filled and has closed but you can still apply for a place with us, just read the information above.
If you have been lucky enough to apply and are successful in the official ballot then you can join our charity team as an 'own place runner'.
Everyone that has entered the ballot finds out if they have got a place at the end of September. You will receive an Accepted or Rejected Magazine.

If you have your own place in the 2010 Virgin London Marathon and would like to join our team then please email us your full name, home postal address and DOB, along with your vest size.
We do not set a minimum fundraising target if you have your own place, just raise as much as you can.
