Walk back in time this weekend

Smile team!

We invite you to join us as we retrace the steps of the Romans and witness their great feat of engineering by trekking along the central section of ancient Hadrian’s Wall in Northumbria.

Originally running from coast to coast and spanning 72 miles, we are left today with only sections of this famous landmark, which cuts through NorthumberlandNational Park.

A challenging weekend hike through wonderful Northumbrian countryside, retracing the steps of the Romans

Starting at Lanercost Priory, we trek 41km (25 miles) over two days alongside the only remaining sections of the wall to Broccolitia Roman Fort. Dotted with ancient monuments and fabulous views of Hadrian’s Wall itself, other highlights of our trek are the stunning scenery and sense of achievement after a long, challenging weekend.

Although the trip will be tough the sense of achievement will make it all worth while! We will supply you with a full fundraising pack including fundraising tips to help you reach your sponsorship target and can help you set up an online fundraising page. We will also supply you with a comprehensive training guide and the full support of our challenge events team. Have a look at our frequently asked questions.
