How much will it cost?
To reserve your place on the trek we ask you to pay a non-refundable deposit of £50. You will then need to raise or pay £375 to reach your minimum sponsorship.
75 per cent of this (£280) needs to be received by the charity eight weeks before departure. If this amount is not paid in time then unfortunately you will lose your place and your £50 non-refundable deposit will go, as a donation, to the charity.
The outstanding balance of £95 must be received by the charity no later than one month after your return.
The total cost for the challenge is £425 (at least 50 per cent of this will come to the charity).
How will I raise this money?
We will send you a full fundraising pack containing loads of great fundraising ideas, sponsor forms and promotional materials. You can also set up an online fundraising page and the Challenge Events Team are always on hand to offer you advice and support.
What will I be getting?
- All accommodation (2 man tents)
- All meals (two dinners, two breakfasts and two lunches are included, and tea before departure on Sunday). The food is good and there is plenty of it.
- Full backup and vehicle support

How fit do I need to be?
This walk is rated as tough and requires some training and a good level of basic fitness, but don’t worry we’ll provide you with a comprehensive training programme.
What will I need to bring with me?
