RBC Trade for the Kids raises £150,000

Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity was thrilled to be one of the chosen charities for RBC Trade for the Kids, Royal Bank of Canada’s first ever charity trading day in the UK which took place on 8 February. Four former GOSH patients took part in the day which raised a fantastic £150,000 to help fund a new state-of-the-art neurosciences centre at the hospital.

Sainsbury’s raises over £500,000 for GOSH through Christmas campaign

The campaign, which launched the release of Sainsbury’s Christmas advert, highlighted the importance of sharing the gift of time with family and friends at Christmas. Funds were raised through the sales of Gingerbread ‘Dave’ biscuits, Greatest Gift animation kits and donations from customers at the checkout, and will go towards providing vital new parent accommodation for families at the hospital.

Just before Christmas, we were joined by volunteers from Disney Store who distributed soft toys to every patient in the hospital. In its eighth year, this annual donation is part of Disney Store’s Christmas campaign, 'From Our Family to Yours' and it continues to be a real treat for patients.

iCandy raise £55,000 for GOSH!

iCandy reached the end of their first year in partnership with GOSH having raised over £55,000. They are raising money to fund an enclosed isolation recovery bay and are over half way towards their target!

Cult Pens and uni-ball collaborate

Thank you to website Cult Pens who teamed up with our partner uni-ball to raise money for the charity. Both parties donated 10p from the sale of each uni-ball pen during the Christmas period, raising a brilliant £1,030. 

Monarch on board collections!

Gatwick charity awareness week
In December, Monarch supported GOSH through on board collections, which raised £11,456, bringing their overall total to £74,493 – a great first six months in partnership together.

AJ Gallagher kick off partnership in great style

AJ Gallagher officially launched their partnership with us just before the New Year. They have already had success bucket collecting at tube stations across London, organising an office Christmas raffle and involving staff in a sponsored static bike ride, travelling 192km in just one day!

Peter Rabbit collaboration

Peter Rabbit
Enesco and GOSH have collaborated to produce an amazing range of bespoke Peter Rabbit soft toys. Using original patient artwork, three Peter Rabbits have been created to raise money for the hospital. They will be available from March via the GOSH online shop
