Corporate Partnerships Networking Breakfast

On the 17 January, we welcomed representatives from 13 of our corporate partners to our first Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity Corporate Networking Breakfast.

The morning provided a great opportunity to connect some of our key contacts within other organisations and share their experiences in supporting Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH). Additionally, we were able to thank our partners for their continued support and celebrate the significant impact our partnerships have, enabling the hospital to continue to provide world-class care to its young patients and their families.

Inspiring our partners

We were thrilled that Dr Hannah Macleod MBE, England and Great Britain Hockey player who has had over 150 international appearances was able to join us as our guest speaker. Hannah has a PHD in Exercise Physiology and is the co-founder of A Word on Nutrition, which specialises in performance nutrition consultancy.

Through the Q&A hosted by Corporate Partnerships Director Amit Aggarwal, Hannah shared her journey on and off the field, culminating in winning the Olympic Gold Medal at Rio 2016. Speaking of her training, Hannah highlighted that it was imperative for the team to understand their individual roles, identify the overall objective and create clear and precise training to make their collective goal a process driven success story.

It proved to be a thought-provoking morning, and highlighted the similarities of how charity partnerships and companies can draw on insight from world-class athletes to maximise potential and achieve successes!

Thank you to the Doyle Collection

A huge thank you to the Doyle Collection who as part of our three-year partnership kindly allowed us to host our event at their boutique Bloomsbury Hotel. We very much hope to unite our partners at a future networking event in the near future. The Doyle Collection sent the below message to thank those who attended:

We were absolutely delighted to host GOSH and their partners at the recent breakfast event in our Seamus Heaney Library at The Bloomsbury.  Not only did we get to meet some wonderful companies, we were privileged to host an inspiring talk followed by a question and answer session with Olympian, Hannah McLeod.  We are proud to have partnered with GOSH for a few years now, helping to raise over £70,000.  We have enjoyed engaging our employees and guests with the partnership and aligning our hotel brand with GOSH.  We look forward to working together for many more years to come.”
