ASK Italian aims to raise £1 million

ASK Italian is generously donating 25p from every Kids Menu sold as they kick-start their plans to raise £1 million for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity.

This is just one of a number of exciting fundraising initiatives planned by ASK Italian in the run up to Christmas, and beyond.

Over the coming years employees from head office and restaurants all over the UK will be undertaking a range of fundraising activities to help reach their target.

The money raised will go towards funding the dining rooms, play rooms and kitchen of the hospital's new Surgery Centre, due to open in 2016.

These areas will provide patients and their families with valuable privacy, space and comfort during their time at Great Ormond Street Hospital.

We are delighted that ASK Italian has chosen to continue to support the hospital with this very generous commitment!

A recipe for success

Since 2009 ASK Italian has raised £200,000 for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity, through a range of activities including sales of a celebrity cook book and donations from a range of dishes.

The money has been able to fund both a ward kitchen and an adolescent dining and recreation area on Bear Ward, part of the Wolfson Heart and Lung Centre housed in the Morgan Stanley Clinical Building.

We've worked with Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity for a number of years now. It is a charity we feel really passionate about and which our teams love supporting. Our new goal is to raise a further £1 million over the next few years to fund dining rooms, play areas and a kitchen within the hospital's new Surgery Centre, which will help provide physical and emotional support to patients and their families.
