Meet the Friends team

The Friends Membership Team has a staff of three who between them manage the Friends Membership Scheme on a daily basis. We would like to introduce ourselves to you.

Patsy Cowen

I am probably a familiar face to many of you as I work in the hospital main reception at the Friends Membership Scheme desk. Many new Friends Members sign up with me or renew their membership when visiting the hospital. I also sell a popular range of Friends t-shirts and fleeces which I notice many of you were wearing at Paradise Wildlife Park. Part of my job that I really enjoy is meeting patients and their families, many of whom become regular visitors and friends so next time you are in the hospital make sure you come and say hello.

Amy Crust

I make sure that Welcome Packs are sent out as soon as payment has been banked and your details have been recorded on our database. I also let you know when it is time to renew your membership and when you phone with enquires it is usually me at the other end of the telephone. I am currently organising our Annual Family Fun Day and look forward to celebrating the 10th birthday of the Friends Membership Scheme with friends old and new.

Sarah Ajder

My job is making the Friends Membership Scheme even better so that we can attract lots of new members and increase the support we can give to the hospital. At the moment I am busy planning how we can make our 10th birthday year really special.  Our Friends members are some of our most loyal supporters  and we are very grateful for all the wonderful things you do to help the children at Great Ormond Street Hospital get better. Please do let us know how you are getting invloved, we love to hear from our Friends.
