Everyone can get involved in Bad Hair Day and raise funds to help the patients at Great Ormond Street Hospital. Whether you take part at school, at work or in your salon, we want to see you rocking bold hairdos.
Here’s a few ideas and downloadable fundraising materials to get you started:
- Get your fundraising off to a great start
Set up a JustGiving page for your school so that teachers and parents can donate easily online. Every time you share your JustGiving page on Facebook, you’ll raise on average an extra £5. Now is the time to let your Facebook friends know you’re taking part in Bad Hair Day.
Simply pop our silly hair sweepstake up in your staff room and ask for a suggested donation of £2 per guess.
- Sticker pack
Do you have the most magnificent man bun? Or maybe the most monstrous mohwak? Let everyone know with our downloadable Bad Hair Day sticker pack.
Let everyone know you’re taking part in Bad Hair Day with our downloadable poster.
- Pop-up salon
Raise even more money on Bad Hair Day by having a pop-up hair salon. Set up shop and style hair in return for a small donation.
- Hair dares
Fill a hat with hair dares – wear a funny wig, crimp your crop or go bold with a head shave! Don’t forget to collect donations as sponsorship for your dare.
- Set up a fundraising stall
Organise an area where you can give head or hand massages in return for a donation.
- Pay in your fundraising
Once you’ve had your event and collected your fundraising money, please complete and return this form along with your cheque and send to us using the freepost envelope included in your pack.
