Assist and support staff or other volunteers with a variety of tasks like sending out mailings, research and cold calling.

Tasks

Distributing materials i.e. posters, campaign materials e.g. Kiss it Better badges

Being responsible for posting information to supporters as directed

Assisting with research into the local area

Assisting with general admin tasks

Internet based research

Typing up addresses for mailings
Skills required
-
Experience of working in an office and some basic word-processing skills

Ability to maintain accurate and effective records

Good communication skills and experience of dealing with the public on the telephone would be useful, but this is not essential

Ability to work as part of a team and also on own initiative

Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and plan agreed

activities.

Willingness to undertake any training required
