Celebrity chefs dine for charity at Benares!
Atul Kochhar, Chef Director of the well-known Benares Restaurant and Bar is supporting Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity through a fantastic charity dinner with some of the UK’s favourite celebrity chef’s on Monday 21 April 2008.
Chefs that have committed to the event so far include the likes of The Hairy Bikers (BBC), Phil Howard (The Square), Marcus Wareing (Petrus), Momma Cherri (Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares), Jun Tanaka (Pearl), Silvena Rowe (Saturday Kitchen), Patrick Williams (The Terrace), Adebola Adeshina (The Lock), Hardeep Singh Kohli (Celebrity Masterchef) and Atul Kochhar himself.
This unique evening will be unlike any other. Each celebrity chef will play host to a table, making the evening a memorable star studded event in support of Great Ormond Street Hospital.
The money raised will aid the groundbreaking work at the Hospital.
The evening will commence at 6.30pm sharp, with a champagne reception whilst a live jazz pianist sets the ambience. Guests will then be escorted into the restaurant to enjoy a lavish signature five course meal with accompanying wines, personally designed by Atul for this prestigious event.
Following the meal television and LBC radio presenter Jeni Barnett will play host to the charity auction.
