GOSH announced as Charity of the Year for Prudential RideLondon 2018

We’re thrilled to be named as the Charity of the Year for Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 in 2018. Join the biggest team of riders in this iconic 100 mile cycling challenge and support GOSH.

Next July, 750 riders will pedal the streets of London and Surrey to raise money to support Great Ormond Street Hospital and help seriously ill children from across the UK.

The 2017 event, which took place on Sunday 30 July, saw hundreds of GOSH riders rise to the challenge in support of the hospital’s critical work. We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who took part and made the day so special – every mile made a difference. It’s extremely exciting for everyone at the Charity that the 2018 event will see Team GOSH lead the way in style!

Double Olympic Gold medal winning track cyclist Victoria Pendleton CBE will be supporting the Team GOSH cyclists ahead of the event in 2018 in her role as our Children’s Champion. Victoria said: “Great Ormond Street Hospital will always have a special place in my heart. I am hugely grateful for the care and compassion that was shown to my twin brother when he was treated for leukaemia there as a child, as well as the support that my parents and I received.

“I am delighted that Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity will be the Charity of the Year for Prudential RideLondon which will offer any budding cyclists a fantastic opportunity to raise money for the charity and help them to fund vital support services such as parent accommodation.”
