F1™ drivers and celebrity guests rev up for Great Ormond Street Hospital fundraiser
Grammy award-winner Duffy will play a private gig at The F1™ Party in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity.
The party is being held at London’s V&A Museum on Wednesday 17 June 2009 to celebrate the official launch of the 2009 FORMULA 1 SANTANDER BRITISH GRAND PRIX.
Abbey and Santander are generously supporting the F1™ Party for a third year running to raise vital funds for the hospital’s new Heart and Lung Centre.
Tamara Ecclestone is the creative director of the party and has helped to plan and oversee the event from the early stages.
Duffy is taking time out of her European tour to entertain Formula 1™’s finest including Lewis Hamilton, team principals Martin Whitmarsh, Ross Brawn, Christian Horner and BBC F1™ presenter Jake Humphrey.
The evening will be hosted by satirist and F1™ fan Rory Bremner.
We have brought together the Formula One community to forge a unique partnership with Great Ormond Street Hospital, which has developed over many years now. I am delighted to be able to lend my support to such a great cause.
