Meerkat Aleksandr Orlov helps fundraise for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity this Christmas.

Harrods has donated a number of soft toy versions of Compare the Market's advert star Aleksandr Orlov to the charity to bring some festive cheer to our patients this Christmas.

As only a limited number of the must-have cuddly toys have been produced, and they will not be available to buy in stores, Harrods has also given the charity a number to auction on eBay to help raise as much money as possible, to help fund pioneering research, life-saving equipment, accommodation for parents and the rebuild and refurbishment of the hospital.

We are most grateful to Aleksandr for coming to visit our patients and bringing them such a fantastic present before Christmas! The charity needs to raise £50 million every year so we are also incredibly grateful that Harrods has given us a number of toys in order to raise funds.
