Regis UK launches Regis Rally

Regis UK has launched Regis Rally, a series of of ten mile trekking challenges across the UK to raise funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity's HAIRraising appeal.

The treks, which run from Sunday 1 September to Sunday 29 September, are open to staff, friends, families and suppliers of the company, which includes Regis salons, Supercuts and Hair & Beauty by Regis. Teams and individual fundraisers will come together across the UK for treks in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Coventry and London.

To celebrate the launch of Regis Rally, Regis UK invited Lottie and Alana, two mums whose children have been treated at Great Ormond Street Hospital, to their Oxford Street salon in London for an afternoon of pampering, with hair and nail treats.

The Regis Rally is part of Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity's HAIRraising appeal, which brings together the UK hairdresssing industry to raise funds. Founded by hairdressing entrepreneur John Frieda in 2010, the appeal has already raised £1 million towards a new operating theatre, and is not fundraising towards a new Respiratory Unit at the hospital.

Jenny Smith, Marketing Manager at Regis UK, said: "We're thrilled to be supporting Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity through the Regis Rally series. It's so fantastic to see our staff, suppliers, friends and families come together to help raise money for such an important cause."
