The Pirates Adventure charity premiere raised a treasure chest of over £100,000 for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity on Saturday 3 May.
Six patients from Great Ormond Street Hospital were flown with their families courtesy of Thomson Holidays to enjoy a week’s VIP treatment as the guests of honour at the Pirates Adventure Charity Premiere in Majorca.
The children were chosen by Great Ormond Street Hospital from all over the UK for the courage they demonstrated throughout their life-saving treatments at the hospital. They were joined by a star-studded line up of celebrities including Linda Robson, Gaynor Faye and cast members of Coronation Street and Holby City.
This year Pirates Adventure Charity Premiere shattered all records, raising over £100,00 for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity on the night and with raffle tickets still being sold even more money is being raised for the hospital. The Pirates Adventure team are overjoyed with the success of the event and thank the generosity of the Islanders.
