Peter Pan Week 2008

Read some of the highlights from Peter Pan Week 2008.

To celebrate the launch of Peter Pan in Scarlet in paperback, we called on nurseries, schools and groups across the UK to help us smash The Guinness World Record for the most people reading a piece of poetry aloud at one time.

Guinness World Record results

Unfortunately we didn't meet the massive 250,000 target required to break the record,  however, a staggering 66,749 people took part and read "To the Top" from Peter Pan in Scarlet at 9.15am on 7 March 2008.

We raised an amazing £100,000 which will help us fund a new renal unit at the hospital.  A huge THANK YOU to all of you who took part.
