On Tuesday 4 July, the F1™ Party, sponsored by BGC Partners with support from Pirelli, celebrated the official launch of the 2012 FORMULA 1 SANTANDER BRITISH GRAND PRIX raising £540,000 in vital funds for a new surgery centre at Great Ormond Street Hospital.
We are delighted that Cloud Nine has partnered with Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity by sponsoring Bad Hair Day and donating £10 + VAT on every sale of their White Touch hair straighteners.
The money raised with the help of Bernie Ecclestone and the Formula 1 ®community has played a significant part in the building of the hospital’s new Heart and Lung Centre as well as the redevelopment of the Surgery Centre and we are hugely grateful for their continued support.
Throughout Great Ormond Street Hospital's (GOSH) 165-year history, the support of you, our partners, has enabled the hospital to give seriously ill children the chance for a better future. Corporate support remains as vital as it has ever been.
In the run up to World Storytelling Day on March 20, we'll be sharing stories by classmates of GOSH patient Ezara-Mai, inspired by the ward names at the hospital, which are named after animals. This week, the School Council (2015 - 2016) share a tale about Nellie the athletic Elephant!
Clinique has supported the Kiss it Better appeal since its launch in 2004. They help raise vital funds by selling special, limited edition products every year and encouraging employees to raise money through events and activities.
Twelve-year-old Ezara-Mai comes to Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) for treatment for juvenile dermatomyositis, a rare condition that affects her muscles and skin. She is also an ambassador for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity, helping to increase awareness of GOSH and the charity and fundraising to help other patients like her.
