A founder member of the Tick Tock Club, Francesca Evans, has released a CD to help raise money for the new Heart and Lung Centre at Great Ormond Street Hospital.

An actress by training, Francesca has also sung and played guitar on the folk club circuit, and the idea to record a CD came about when she was invited to sing in a John Denver memorial concert in the USA.

"Appearing again, singing on stage, made me realise how much I had missed it," said Francesca. "I dusted down my old guitar, formed a band in the US, and out of that came this double CD of 34 tracks of varied songs from Emmylou Harris, Nanci Griffith, Lee Ann Womack and many others. These songs are dear to my heart and I hope you will enjoy listening to them as much as I have enjoyed making this CD."

Francesca and her husband are both Founder Members of the Tick Tock Club, and all money raised by sales of the CD will be donated to the Tick Tock Club.
