Why we need your support

Despite being an international centre of excellence for paediatric medicine and research, the hospital's requirements and potential now exceeds its cramped and outdated facilities.

Creating the right environment

We desperately need to replace our oldest buildings which are cramped, undignified and simply no longer suitable for 21st century healthcare.

Modern medicine requires more than just a bed. We want to treat our patients in the facilities they deserve and their families expect.

Pioneering research

Our research work has made big strides forward over recent years and our patients are seeing the benefits. But we still need to improve our understanding of childhood illnesses and develop new treatments even faster.

Huw Jenkins, Chairman of the Tick Tock Club

The club aims to address the hospital's greatest need and that is why I would like to invite you to join me for this new challenge: to raise £10 million to build a much needed new children's kidney centre providing spacious, updated facilities for patients and their families, as well as enabling more pioneering research into childhood kidney disease to take place.
