12 Days of Kids Fundraising

Get your kids involved with fundraising this festive season and help support seriously ill children from across the UK. We have plenty of fun activities to keep you busy throughout December, from baking and crafting to singing and dressing up! 

12 Days of Kids Fundraising

Here is a list of our 12 days of fundraising ideas! If you have any questions or would like any help with your fundraising, please get in touch.

1. Bake it better

From mince pies to gingerbread biscuits, hold a bake sale, coffee morning or afternoon tea. We have all the materials you need to get started!

2. Festive 1k challenge

Fancy walking, running, skating or scooting 1K dressed as Santa? Get your kids involved and collect sponsorship for taking part!

3. Christmas sing-a-thon

Tune into the festive spirit by holding a Christmas sing-a-thon. Ask for donations to attend, start shaking those bells and blast out the Christmas classics.

4. Design a Christmas card

Ask your kids to design Christmas cards, to be posted on your social media with a message. Donate what you would have spent on cards and invite donations from your network.

5. Hold a winter olympics

Pick five challenges and hold your own Winter Olympics. Contestants donate to participate… and make sure to have prizes at the ready for the closing ceremony!

6. Name the elf on the shelf

Create a list of 20 potential names for your elf and keep the real one a secret. Invite donations in return for each guess, and source a prize for the winner!

7. Dress up

From cute Christmas puddings to red-nosed reindeers, its time for spot of fancy dress! Whether its a fancy dress competition or a baby dress-up day, invite donations to take part.

8. Get crafty

Whether it’s sparkly baubles or decorated pinecones, save someone the job of choosing a present this year by Christmas crafting in return for donations.

9. Enjoy the magic of pantomime!

Sing-a-long to the songs, laugh at the crazy jokes and boo the pantomime villain! The Original Online Panto Company will be streaming the spellbinding fairy-tale of Sleeping Beauty this festive season, and while you're enjoying the fun, £4 from each ticket sold will be donated to GOSH Charity! Get your ticket!

10. Organise a Christmas class

Share the hobby you love and hold a Christmas-themed dance workshop, baby yoga class or cookery webinar in return for donations.

11. Nominate us

Ask your kids’ school, nursery or club to pick GOSH Charity as its nominated Christmas charity 2020!

12. Christmas read-a-thon

Pick some fabulously festive titles and keep your kids reading over the holidays with a Christmas read-a-thon. Invite sponsors by the page or the book!

How do I get Involved? 

  1. Pick your festive fundraisers from the list (or maybe you have other ideas!). You might want to do one fundraiser, or even challenge yourself to do all 12! 
  2. Click the 'Get Involved' button above to set up your online fundraising page in aid of GOSH Charity. This is the easiest way to collect donations and sponsorship. 
  3. Don’t forget to share your festive fundraising activities on social and get as many people involved as possible!
