Great North Run 2024

The next Great North Run takes place on Sunday 8 September 2024.

Do something extraordinary and challenge yourself to take on the world's most famous half marathon - the Great North Run.

Run 13.1 miles, starting in Newcastle and running across the Tyne Bridge into Gateshead, along through South Tyneside and the finish line awaits at South Shields. Watch the Red Arrows roar overhead and soak up the amazing atmosphere at this very special race.

• We'll ask you why you'd like to run for us, and for your vest size.
• A registration fee of £30 is payable when you sign up. Use code RUNS30 for 30% off your registration fee until 13 May.
• You'll need to commit to raising a minimum of £350 in sponsorship (excluding Gift Aid).

If you are lucky enough to secure your own place through the Great North Run 2024 ballot, we'd love for you to join TeamGOSH and fundraise for seriously ill children.

There is no minimum fundraising commitment; we would only ask you to raise what you can. Plus, as part of TeamGOSH, you'll get the same great support as our charity place runners.
