2024 Saucony London 10k Cheer Station Volunteer

The 2024 Saucony London 10k

On Sunday 14 July 2024, we will have a team of TeamGOSH participants taking part in the Saucony London 10k, all raising money for seriously ill children at Great Ormond Street Hospital.

What’s involved?

We are looking for fantastic volunteers to come and help support our TeamGOSH participants at our cheer station on the day.

Our cheer point will be located around the 3.5km mark of the run route, on the corner of Pall Mall and Cockspur Street, outside the Embassy of Brazil (SW1Y 5BL), and your role will be to cheer on participants as they pass, helping us to give them a fantastic on the day experience and an extra boost to help them cross the finish line.

In addition to our cheer station, we will also have a marquee in the event village along Waterloo Place (just off Pall Mall).

We will kit you out with everything you need, including a T-shirt to wear on arrival and cheer materials to help you make as much noise as possible.

Exact roles and timings will be allocated closer to the event day, however all our volunteers are valuable and important in making the event a success.

  • Cheer station shift – Approx timings 8.45am - 11.30pm
  • Marquee in event village shift – Approx timings 8.30am – 12.15pm

The approximate full volunteer timings are detailed above, but if you can only do part of this, we would still welcome your support.
