Waitrose launch charity Christmas single

UK supermarket Waitrose will release its very own charity Christmas single with a difference.

The single a beautiful choral rendition of Dolly Parton’s ‘Try’ will be available to download from Sunday 9 November with 100 per cent of sales set to benefit Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity along with Age UK and the Trussell Trust.

The single, which is also the soundtrack to the Waitrose Christmas TV advertisement (also due to air on Sunday), features a mix of recordings from individuals who entered their own version of the song for the ‘Donate Your Voice’ campaign, which ran between 18-28 October, to create a virtual choir.
Thank you to everyone who took part, the single will be available to purchase once the ad has aired on Sunday evening from iTunes and Google Play.
