Eight Nights of Fundraising: Our GOSH Chanukah Appeal

Help us bring light to seriously ill children this Chanukah

Across the eight nights of Chanukah, we’re asking Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) supporters – including you – to raise funds to support our incredible Play team.

Games are an essential part of Chanukah fun, but play is even more important when a child is seriously ill. Our Play team provides care that goes beyond the medical needs of each child, providing an opportunity for children to work through any emotions and worries they have about being in hospital.

Give to GOSH: Appeal's outstanding success will change children's lives

The Give to GOSH appeal has raised more than £3.5 million and will help critically ill children through research into cures for rare diseases, and support given to parents and patients when they are at their most vulnerable.

Bath Half Marathon

The Bath Half Marathon is one of the longest established and most popular city centre road events in the UK. The course itself is fast and flat making it suitable for all abilities – for beginners whose key objective is to complete the course, to more regular long-distance event runners, looking to beat their personal best time. It covers a two lap traffic-free course straddling both sides of the River Avon. The race starts and finishes in the heart of the World Heritage City of Bath. The Daily Telegraph voted The Bath Half ‘3rd Best Running Event’ in their Top 10 Big Runs and Athletics Weekly rated the event as ‘The Fastest Spring Half Marathon Course in the UK.’
