The GOSH Play team says:

"Worries come in all shapes and sizes whether it’s starting school, or moving house this activity sheet can help you to explore some of those feelings, to encourage fearless imaginations and playfulness in a safe space."

Coping with change isn’t always easy. And, for children, the fear of the unknown can be a lot to take in.

Start your adventure

With a little help from Ben Manley & Aurélie Guillerey’s brilliant story, Albert Talbot: The Master of Disguise , the GOSH Play team has put together some fun children’s activities, to guide your little ones on dealing with change.

Join Albert on his journey to school as his imagination helps him overcome his fears and worries along the way.

Dig out some favourite colouring pens, open the book and let your child create their own adventure map.

Use it to help them talk about any worries they have about a new environment.

Download the activity sheet to get started. If you don’t have a copy of the book you could see if your local library has one in stock. If they don’t, you can ask them to order one in for you. The activity sheet can be lots of fun without the book, too.
