Fundraise through the Power of Play

A picture of a family playing.

Great Ormond Street Hospital's expert Play team knows first-hand how play can help children cope with whatever life throws at them. How it helps children feel happier and builds emotional resilience.

Now, teaming up with Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSH Charity) and some much-loved children’s characters, the GOSH Play team is sharing expert play tips and resources with all parents across the UK on our new learning and entertainment hub. Explore the hub here and discover how play can help all children through life’s challenges, big or small.

Get fundraising

You can help support the GOSH Play team, which is fully funded by GOSH Charity, by experiencing the Power of Play yourself. You can:

  • Hold a games night. From board games to video games and from Bingo to Murder Mystery, get your team together for a playdate to raise funds for GOSH Charity.
  • Dress up. Was your childhood hero a cartoon character, a superhero or a puppet? Hold a dress-up day and donate to GOSH Charity to dress as your childhood hero for the day.
  • Take part in our scavenger hunt. Wherever you’re based, enjoy a spot of team building with our exciting scavenger hunt. Download the activity sheet and invite participants to donate to GOSH Charity.
