That’s why we’re building a new, world-leading Children’s Cancer Centre at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH). To give more children the chance to lead happy, healthy lives. And to help improve the odds for children with cancer once and for all.

GOSH already has a dedicated team of experts who specialise in the most complex childhood cancers. Dr Emma Stockton is a Consultant Anaesthetist at GOSH. She says: “We have a whole team, including doctors, nurses and physiotherapists, helping to build the vision.” But we need your help to bring that vision to life.

Meet Alyssa
Alyssa was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia when she was 12 years old. She had chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant, but unfortunately these conventional treatments failed.
That’s when Alyssa was referred to GOSH, where she was the first person in the world to receive a ground-breaking cancer treatment which saved her life. Alyssa is now in remission and is excited to be at home and spend time with her family and friends.
"Now I’m cancer free, I just hope to live a normal, happy life and I'm excited to finish school and get a job."
The new Children’s Cancer Centre will help to deliver more breakthroughs in cancer care and give young people like Alyssa a future.
