Fairy Non Bio

Every time a customer buys one of the specially-designed packs of Fairy Non Bio 3 in 1 pods, gel, liquid and powder featuring the GOSH Charity logo, Fairy Non Bio will make a donation to the charity until the end of January. Our partnership is hoping to raise at least £150,000 to help seriously ill children being treated at GOSH.

Nineteen 87 launches partnership

On Thursday 7 December, premium dog food brand Nineteen 87 and GOSH Charity officially launched a two-year partnership, which will raise at least £55,000 by December 2019. A London bus took dog lovers including the hospital’s very own volunteer Bridie Hall and her dog Max from the hospital to Regent’s Park and Hyde Park for a day of dog walks, talks and fine dining.

Nineteen 87 also very kindly provided tasty treats at London Santa Dash finish line for all the dogs who walked, ran or scampered around the course on Sunday 3 December.

Hydrate M8 launch patient designed bottle

The end of November saw the launch of Hydrate M8’s latest children’s water bottle, featuring artwork from GOSH patient Adam. £1 from each of these bottles sold, along with 10p from every other bottle sold via the website will support the funding of vital parent accommodation close to the hospital.

Volunteers at the Halloween patient party!

In October patients, siblings, parents and staff enjoyed a Halloween-themed patient party at the hospital. Seven spooktastic employees from our partnerships with Premier Inn and Restaurants, Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) and Monarch volunteered at the event, taking part in many of the activities.

Patients and their families had frighteningly-good fun in fancy dress, with explosive tricks from the Fun Scientists, spooky arts and crafts and treats galore.

We are delighted that Smyths Toys has chosen to support GOSH Charity this Christmas. Proceeds from the sale of plush toy Snot, a fun festive friend, will go towards supporting the hospital.

Team members also took part in a treasure hunt, some had their heads shaved or legs waxed and everyone gave very generously to the auction and raffle. Thank you to everyone at Robert Walters for raising an incredible £32,000!

Celebrating payroll giving

On 11 November Bernard Bear joined 40 members of staff from Arriva London to welcome in the new Lord Mayor and to celebrate another year of platinum payroll giving by their incredible staff.

Bernard Bear paraded the streets of London alongside a historic open-top Routemaster in celebration of the government led initiative which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, meeting many GOSH Charity supporters along the way.

A big thanks to Arriva London and their staff who continue to support us each month through their pay!

Morgan Stanley House opens

Morgan Stanley House, brand new accommodation near to GOSH, recently opened its doors to allow parents of seriously ill children to stay close to their child.

An estimated 300 families a year are set to benefit from this new facility. The house has been made possible thanks to employees at Morgan Stanley who helped to raise over £1.8million during their recent partnership with GOSH Charity.

Sparks supporter IAG Cargo hosts charity ball

IAG Cargo’s employees held their fifth annual charity ball to raise money for Sparks, inviting their clients and suppliers. Anna and Archie Barker, Sparks family supporters, attended to speak about their experience of Archie’s clubfoot and how Sparks funded research has helped them.

The event raised over £20,000 for Sparks, who are funding children’s medical research in partnership with GOSH Charity.
