Autumn fundraising ideas

RFTK news

  • Make your classroom Christmassy by decorating together and make a donation to Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity. Students and teachers make a suggested donation of £1 or £2 each to decorate a bauble sticker for our festive tree poster. Why not add festive messages to your decorations instead of exchanging cards? Contact the team to order your poster pack.
  • If you're outside London or want to organise your own event, then take part in our 1k Challenge – you can personalise your challenge to your school to make it the perfect fundraising activity for you.
  • Ask for donations for GOSH at your next school play. You could even hold a Peter Pan production.
  • Organise a non-uniform or themed fancy dress day.
  • Show off with a talent show or battle of the bands.
  • Get your teacher to take on a challenge.
  • Get competitive and run a quiz.
  • Hold an auction of promises.
  • Try one of our sponsored games.

Charity of the Year partnerships

If you're thinking about your Charity of the Year for the 2017/18 academic year we would love you to choose us! We have loads of ideas and resources for schools and would be delighted to speak to you about your plans. You can get in touch on schools@gosh.org or 020 3841 3131.

School assemblies

If your school chooses to support us with fundraising, we may have an Ambassador or member of staff in your area who you could invite to speak at one of your assemblies. Alternatively, we have videos, presentations and materials that we can provide you with to create your own Great Ormond Street Hospital assembly. Please email schools@gosh.org for more information or have a look at our assembly resources online.
