Combination of tablets may offer hope of preventing spina bifida and similar conditions

Women at risk of carrying babies with spina bifida or similar conditions may benefit from taking vitamin B8 – also known as inositol – alongside folic acid during pregnancy, suggests research from the UCL Institute of Child Health, the research partner of Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH).
