St. Andrew's Primary
St. Andrew's Primary

Every year, productions of Peter Pan are staged by school children across the country - make it more fun by fundraising for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity.

Licence fees for Peter Pan

When staging a production in your school in the UK, you will not have to pay the licence fee if you are fundraising for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity and providing you use one of the following scripts:

  • Barrie's original play

  • Your own adaptation of Peter Pan

  • Script offered by the charity

Register your performance

If your school is fundraising for the charity, please register your Peter Pan event and we will be happy to supply you with the information you need and a wide range of promotional materials to assist with the production, including free scripts and backing tracks.

Exceptions

Unfortunately, fees cannot be waived:

  • if you are using a third party's adaptation or version of Peter Pan, such as Piers Chater Robinson's or David Barrett's musicals which are part of a separate agreement

  • if you are a stage or acting school

  • if you are a youth theatre or amateur drama group

  • for all of the above exceptions, please contact our agents Samuel French for more information on obtaining a licence

Fundraising

Licence fees benefit Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity but if  you would still like to fundraise for us in addition to obtaining a licence,  we would be happy to send you our fundraising pack (including the free script and backing track).

Applying for a licence

If you're not sure which version you're using, which version to choose or would like to apply for a Peter Pan school licence, please contact us at peterpan@gosh.org or call 020 7239 3047 and we'll be happy to help.
