Join our family challenge this June to help give seriously ill children childhoods that are fuller, funner and longer.

Stroll through village streets, conquer countryside fields or pound the city’s pavements – it’s your adventure, your way. Together, walk 42 miles in June, the distance of the Mount Kilimanjaro climb! Everyone’s miles will count towards your goal as you spend some quality time together.

By pulling on your wellies, lacing up your trainers, and walking with your loved ones, you’ll help build the new Children’s Cancer Centre at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) and support children and their families.

How your support will help children with cancer

The Great Family Walk aims to raise funds to help build the new Children's Cancer Centre at GOSH.

GOSH already cares for children with the hardest to treat cancers, and new treatments are giving hope to children and their families. But these advances have outstripped GOSH's current cancer facilities.

We need a new home for breakthrough treatments and pioneering research, so we can save more children's lives. And because cancer shouldn't get to steal anyone's childhood, we need a place that's more than a hospital – a place that's a school, a playground, a garden, and so much more.

That's why we're building a world-leading, child focused Children's Cancer Centre, where more children can have the best chance and the best childhood possible.

Together, we can build it. Together, we can help beat childhood cancer.

All funds raised will go towards the development of cancer care at Great Ormond Street Hospital. In the event that costs change, or the needs of the hospital or patients change, we reserve the right to redirect funds for use against the hospital’s most urgent needs.
