Gather your family and friends to join thousands of incredible Home Heroes across the UK and create your own RBC Race for the Kids challenge on your own turf.
From walking and wheeling, to running and scooting, take on 2k, 5k or your own trailblazing distance in a way that suits you and your crew best. You could do it all in one day or split out your distance across the week, it’s up to you.
By taking part as a Home Hero, you’ll get out and about while raising funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity (GOSH Charity) to help beat childhood cancer.
So, explore your neighbourhood, turn your local park into a track or discover somewhere new along the way. However you decide, you can race for the kids anywhere!

Charity fundraising tips
We ask that everyone taking part raises as much as they can to help us build a new Children's Cancer Centre at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH). When you sign up, a fundraising page will automatically be set up for you.
Set a fundraising target. We recommend £100, which you can increase if you reach your target early.
Personalise your page. Share your story and why you're taking part in RBC Race for the Kids: Home Heroes and fundraising for GOSH Charity.
Share the link to your fundraising page with friends, family and colleagues on WhatsApp, email and/or on your social media channels.
Make it a team adventure. Gather your friends and family and invite others to join this charity fundraising event, because fundraising is more fun together.
How your support will help
Cancer doesn’t care about childhood. It doesn’t care what seriously ill kids miss out on, like trips to the seaside or playing in the park with their friends.
But we do.
At GOSH Charity, we know that when cancer hits, childhood suffers. That's why we're building the new, world-leading Children's Cancer Centre at GOSH.
With cutting-edge facilities and an environment where pioneering research can thrive, this centre will be a beacon of hope for families facing the unimaginable. And because cancer shouldn’t get to steal anyone’s childhood, it will be more than a hospital building. It will be a school, a playground, a garden and a home-from-home.
Take on RBC Race for the Kids and join our team of doctors, builders, nurses, researchers and many more helping to build the Children's Cancer Centre – so we can give more kids with cancer the best chance and the best childhood possible.
Be part of it.
